HandCraft Services is Hygienically Clean Certified in Richmond, VA!
HandCraft is proud to announce that our two Richmond, Virginia plants are TRSA Hygienically Clean Certified through 2022. Since 2014, HandCraft has strived to meet the standards set by the TRSA. We proudly and steadfastly maintain that commitment.
Why is TRSA Certification Important?
A TRSA Hygienically Clean Certification tells the public that we’re a safe and reliable business partner. Accredited 3rd party inspections are one of the only ways to distinguish reputable, honest, and safe businesses from those that are not.
Products
A TRSA Hygienically Clean Certification tells potential clients that the products and services they get through our company will be clean and safe. Infection prevention policies are in place to ensure proper sanitation.
Efficiency and Productivity
Facilities with a Hygienically Clean Certification maintain a level of efficiency in design, equipment, practices, and training. They also adhere to all industry regulations for employee treatment and safety.
Handling Expertise
A Hygienically Clean Certification also acknowledges our commitment to safe and effective monitoring, packaging, and transportation of our products. This ensures that your products stay clean in transit.
What a TRSA Inspection Looks Like
It starts when an inspector team arrives at one of our facilities. Each inspector is trained in certification standards, evidence collection procedures, interview protocol, work surface testing, technology use, and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) compliance and collection procedures.
As they inspect, they take notes, conduct interviews, and collect samples. When all samples are collected and notes taken, they are immediately sent for analysis and evaluation. Soon, we have the results.
Product Evaluation
Samples that are evaluated include, but are not limited to, linens, towels, and uniforms. Evaluations are done in three stages:
– Initial test. Baseline evaluation and testing. Once this is passed, a second test of different items is scheduled.
– If the different items also pass the test, then the inspection is conducted and a deep evaluation of the facility itself is done.
– As part of the inspection, a third product testing is done and, if the inspection turns nothing concerning up and the materials pass, the facility is certified.
Due to our dedication to providing the highest quality materials for your business, passing has not been an issue.
Professional Compliance
Certification also guarantees that your products are being handled by trained hands with expert eyes watching the process. Specifically, certification ensures employees are trained and competent in all aspects of their job, and are protected while performing it. It also ensures that managers are knowledgeable of legal and regulatory requirements, there is OSHA compliance, and the plant is effectively operated overall.
