Meet the People of HandCraft

Curtis has been an integral part of HandCraft for the past 15 years, demonstrating a deep understanding of the company and a commitment to its growth. Starting his career in linen distribution, Curtis quickly became HandCraft’s first Customer Service Manager. This foundational experience led to a successful period in Business Development, followed by valuable operational roles in both of HandCraft’s Richmond plants. Before being named CEO on January 1st, 2025, Curtis served as General Manager of the Richmond acute plant and subsequently oversaw the operations of both the acute and non-acute facilities.

Outside of HandCraft, Curtis and his wife are busy raising their three children. Weekends are often spent cheering on their two sons and daughter in various sports, including lacrosse, baseball, basketball, football and tennis. When time allows, Curtis also enjoys playing a round of golf.

Jason joined HandCraft as its Chief Financial Officer in 2014. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Virginia and a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business where he majored in accounting.

Jason brings with him a heavy background in accounting, auditing, tax, compliance and internal control from his years with a large regional public accounting firm as well as finance and banking from his years as a controller and stockholder of a Richmond based mortgage company that originated over one billion in residential home loans during his tenure.

This varied experience has served the company well as it has grown over 5 times since he joined in 2014, in addition to developing a very large real estate portfolio through its numerous related party entities.

Jason lives in Richmond’s historic Fan District with his wife and two boys. He can be seen around the Fan in his spare time, working on and renovating his old home built in the 1880s and various rental properties of his own.

Joe McKeown, Chief Operations Officer at HandCraft Linen Services, brings over 35 years of experience in the linen services industry. His career began in 1989 at Hospital Laundry Services of Regina, followed by a leadership role at K-Bro Linen Systems in Toronto. Since joining HandCraft in 2001, Joe has played a vital role in guiding the company’s operational strategy and growth. With a background in Business Administration from the University of Regina, Joe combines practical expertise with strong leadership.

Outside of work, he is a dedicated husband and father of three accomplished children, and he actively gives back to his community through his involvement with Goochland Cares. An avid racquetball and pickleball player, Joe’s passion and drive continue to position HandCraft as a leader in the industry.

Kattie Dibert serves as the Chief Safety Officer at HandCraft Linen Services, where she is responsible for leading the company’s safety initiatives and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. A third-generation member of the HandCraft family, Kattie joined the organization in 2016 and has held a variety of roles across operations and human resources, including Production Supervisor and Payroll & Benefits Administrator. Her transition into safety began during her time in HR, and as the company expanded, so did her responsibilities, ultimately evolving into a dedicated leadership role in safety and compliance.

Before joining HandCraft, Kattie is a graduate of Virginia Tech, earning her business degree in 2013. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young daughters, and the family dog. Her personal interests include fitness, travel, and quality time with family and friends.

She is deeply committed to fostering a culture of safety and accountability across all levels of the organization.

Maggie Anthes (nee Nichols) is a Richmond, Virginia native and graduate of St. Gertrude High School and the University of Virginia. Like many in her family, she began working at HandCraft during high school and college breaks. After college, she moved to Baltimore for her first job, where she met her husband, also from Richmond. Maggie returned home in 2015 to join HandCraft full-time as a Client Relations Specialist. In 2017, she transitioned into Human Resources as an HR Generalist, when the department was just two people. Today, she serves as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), leading a growing HR team of 5 and supporting the company’s continued growth.

Ward’s journey began with HandCraft in 2013. Starting as HandCraft’s Linen Distribution Manager, Ward has served in several roles at HandCraft including Customer Service Director and Vice President of Business Development. He assumed the role of Chief Growth Officer in January of 2025.

Ward enjoys the travel and relationship building that comes with his customer-facing role as he works with current and prospective customers to grow HandCraft’s business and relationships throughout our service area.

Outside of work, Ward enjoys coaching and supporting his children’s sporting endeavors, and the occasional round of golf when time allows.

Will joined the HandCraft team as Chief Experience Officer in November 2024. With two decades of experience in Sales & Service, Business Development, and people leadership, primarily within the medical device industry, Will brings a passion for developing talent and creating meaningful experiences for both employees and customers. His transition into the CXO role was a natural fit, aligning closely with his long-standing commitment to fostering positive workplace culture and enhancing customer experience.

Outside of HandCraft, Will and his wife, Jaclyn, are busy raising their two daughters, Isla and Everly. Much of their time is spent immersed in the girls’ hobbies and exploring new destinations when they can. In his free time, Will enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

Andrew has quickly grown with HandCraft holding multiple positions with our Service Team. He currently leads our North Division team handling customers in Northern and Central Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, and Delaware. Andrew enjoys mentoring his team and ensuring our customers receive the best service in the industry.

When he’s not taking care of customers, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, fitness, and rucking. Yes, rucking, look it up!

Brian joined HandCraft with the addition of the West District encompassing SW Virginia and Eastern Tennessee and added portions of the Central District including Charlottesville, Harrisonburg and Winchester. After more than 35 years in grocery retail, Brian brings a tremendous background in leadership and development and is excited to build a team based out of Roanoke, Virginia.

Brian enjoys spending his free time on the golf course, being a grill master (although still working to perfect his rib recipe), and spending time outdoors with his wife, family, and friends. Brian is also passionate about helping others in the community wherever he can be impactful.

John leads his team of five Customer Relations Specialists in North Carolina and South Carolina. Coming from a 4-year stretch as the Southeastern CRS, he provides a wealth of experience and passion for educating his team and customers, ensuring each client receives the service they deserve.

With two wonderful young children, John and his wife stay busy. He enjoys doing home improvement projects, a relaxing round of golf and most of all, spending as much time as possible with his family.

Corinne’s journey with HandCraft began in 2013 as a Service Representative, and over the years, she has developed a deep passion for helping others, being a listening ear, and collaborating to solve challenges.

Outside of work, you’ll find Corinne spending time with her husband and three energetic kiddos – who keep life both fun and (let’s be real) wonderfully chaotic! Whether she’s tackling a home design project, enjoying a little retail therapy, or cheering on her kids at their games, she loves making the most of family time.
